Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) is a place based community agency that strives for the empowerment of individuals and groups within the local community who face disadvantage, isolation and obstacles to effective social and economic participation. Funded by Jobs Victoria Innovation Stream, WCC will support 50 job seekers to gain automotive manufacturing jobs with RMAA Australia. Jobseekers will represent Jobs Victoria priority cohorts including women over 45 and people with CALD backgrounds experiencing barriers to employment. RMAA Australia is a new business establishing in Victoria with significant growth potential and is based in new facility in Mickleham, north of Melbourne.

This position is responsible for transporting employees to and from work at RMAA Australia. Driving a vehicle or mini bus the driver will make scheduled stops to pick up and drop off passengers each morning and afternoon. A focus on punctuality and safety is a priority for this position.

Key duties in the role include:

• Follow a planned bus route making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off passengers.
• Transport RMAA employees safely to their work place in a courteous and timely manner, arriving before 7am and departing from 3.30pm each day.
• Operate the mini- bus in accordance with relevant road laws, applicable legislation and company policies.

WCC's mini- bus is a 14 seat bus and no special license is required other than a full Victorian Driver’s license with no restrictions.
