Young Women's Justice Employment Worker - Southern Metro

Providing support to young people at risk in Melbourne’s outer southern region, this role is based at Whitelion’s office in Frankston and will work across the Dandenong region. Working directly with young people, this role will help those impacted by COVID-19.

This project will support highly vulnerable young women (or female identifying young people) who are at risk of entering, or currently a part of, the justice system. You will use case management, outreach, coaching and motivational interviewing to help young people at risk to identify and achieve goals around education, training and employment.

You are passionate about supporting young women at risk and helping them form positive connections and pathways to work.

Whitelion is passionate about creating a workplace that promotes and values diversity. Our vision is for a world where no young person is left behind, where all young people have the right to equitable opportunities to reach their potential. We exist to build positive connections and pathways to work for young people at risk. Success depends on the voice and lived experience of highly vulnerable, high risk young people, systems around them and the Whitelion community.
