About Women’s Health East 

Women’s Health East is a women’s health promotion agency based in Doncaster East that works across Melbourne’s eastern region. WHE’s vision is equality, empowerment, health and wellbeing for all women. Our strategic priorities are to advance gender equality, prevent violence against women and improve women’s sexual and reproductive health. Women’s Health East is recruiting for a number of positions following new investment from the Victorian State Government in the women’s health sector. 

Role summary  

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing a consistent, timely and coordinated approach to Women’s Health East’s marketing and communications functions. The position designs and delivers high-quality external digital and traditional communications and marketing content to increase brand recognition and enhance public understanding of Women’s Health East and its programs and initiatives. 

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator works alongside staff to support the delivery of women’s health promotion and awareness campaigns and advocacy initiatives and is responsible for event management, the production of key publications, and the implementation of internal communications activities to ensure staff are well informed and connected.
