The Australian Government and the Queensland Government invite expressions of interest from suitably skilled First Nations women interested in serving as a Board Director of the Wet Tropics Management Authority. One Director position is available and must be filled by an Indigenous Identified female. Rainforest Aboriginal Peoples are strongly encouraged to apply. 

The Wet Tropics Management Authority is responsible for ensuring that Australia's obligations under the World Heritage Convention for the protection and management of the Wet Tropics of Queensland World Heritage Area are met. The Authority is established under the Wet Tropics World Heritage Protection and Management Act 2003.
