WestCASA is a community based not-for-profit sexual assault counselling service operating in the western metropolitan region of Melbourne for over 30 years.

WestCASA provides counselling, crisis response, advocacy, education and training and is located in Werribee with outreaches at Footscray, Melton, and the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre at Ravenhall.

WestCASA's mission is to promote the recovery of all people who have experienced sexual violence and to strive for a world free of sexual violence.

We are seeking for new, voluntary members to join the WestCASA Board. We are a woman only board who support a feminist framework of operation and practice.

Having reviewed our current Board composition, we are specifically looking for people who reflect the following skillsets and attributes. We are not expecting any one person to fulfil all of these attributes:

• Expertise in finance and accounting
• Expertise in Communications
• Diversity Inclusion specifically: First Nations people, Identifying as LGBTQI+, identifying as cultural, linguistically, religious and/or ethnically diverse
