Your Role

As the Project Support Officer Primary Care you will work as part of a dynamic team who work to improve health outcomes for older people in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith regions.

Key duties of this role include managing and updating IT platforms and data; liaising with key stakeholders to set up meetings and book events; and secretariat/administration support for the wider team and stream.

Good organisational skills with the ability to effectively communicate, engage and build strong relationships with local healthcare practitioners and other stakeholders are key components of this role.

This position is full time and is funded until June 2024. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.

Location: Penrith LGA

Remuneration: $73,153 (potential maximum grossed up salary equivalent $82,924*)
*Based on NFP salary packaging tax benefits (which may be subject to criteria)

Selection Requirements:

Essential criteria

  • Strong communication and engagement skills and the ability to liaise with a range of people from diverse organisation and professional levels within established parameters.
  • Demonstrated effective written communication skills.
  • Ability to make well developed judgements and operate within broad parameters. Take responsibility within the context of self-directed work outcomes.
  • The ability to develop project outcomes in line with stream and team timelines with consideration to multiple inputs.
  • Proven ability to utilise information technology tools in particular the Microsoft suite to an intermediate level.

Desirable criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in health or project management.
  • Relevant experience aged care or with vulnerable populations.
