About the Role

The Program Development Officer – AOD GP Education will work closely with the primary healthcare sector to improve the uptake of existing drug and alcohol training packages; develop and establish an AOD regional approach that supports general practice; and collaborate with key stakeholders to both develop and strengthen AOD Health Pathways.

Our ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience relevant to health, alcohol and other drugs, welfare or community services.You will also have strong project management skills. Key to this role is the use of highly developed communication and engagement skills and the ability to coordinate activities at a professional level.

This position is full time; however, a 4-day week may be negotiated. The role is currently funded until June 2021. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.
