Well Creative Minds offers psychosocial/mental health support services for NDIS participants of all ages in Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Central Coast areas. Having started as an independent sole provider, Well Creative Minds has grown organically due to the quality niche services we provide, and we're looking to expand our wonderful support team (both male and female) in Sydney, Blue Mountains and Central Coast. Our team are passionate, caring, empathetic, and professional and while a lot of the work is independent, we all communicate regularly and work well as a team!
We are not just any provider, we are a provider who was founded by someone who has worked in the industry, with psychological background and experience so we understand the nature of the work which is why we look after our workers well. We also provide a holistic and integrative client-focused approach different to many other larger providers. And due to client demand, we are looking to expand our team to work with our participants who have a range of psychosocial disabilities, from helping them engage in the community to helping them build their confidence and social skills.
We have immediate ongoing work available for a female support worker within the Blue Mountains/Blackheath area. This is a minimum of 8 hours spread across Monday and Thursday (3-4 hour long shifts) to start immediately with the potential to increase hours for the right candidate, dependent on client demand and worker availability. This job will suit someone with some knowledge or professional experience with trauma and mental health conditions.
We encourage anyone of all ages and backgrounds to apply and are always open to receiving applications from male and female support workers anytime, to join our dedicated team of mental health psychosocial support workers, who are based in Sydney, Central Coast and the Blue Mountains areas. Please follow application instructions to be considered.
While this role does not involve counselling or therapy-related work, WCM is still young and growing with opportunities for other roles in future and we are ideally looking for people who want to grow with the business. This starting role offered is suitable for someone with existing experience in the care industry or similar, is studying in a related area, or someone who is looking to add to their experience and further their skill set, working directly with people who have a range of mental health challenges and conditions.
Important: This position requires someone who has the flexibility to be available occasionally to work on short notice and on flexible days, as well as maintain communication when not working with clients as it is a remote role, this is essential.
Please read and follow the application instructions to be considered.
