Women with Disabilities Victoria (WDV) is the peak organisation for women with disabilities in Victoria. Our Hubs are currently located in Barwon, Cobram/Moira, Melbourne Outer East and Warrnambool. This position is for a new Hub in the Loddon region of Victoria (Central Victoria). We are seeking a Hub Liaison Officer who lives or accesses the Loddon region to support and facilitate the Hub.

about the role

In this position you will:

  • Establish and grow a Hub for women with disabilities.
  • Support and facilitate the local leadership hub and grow its membership.
  • Support and coordinate the activities of the local leadership hub.
  • Liaise with WDV on important issues raised by women with disabilities relating to community and systemic advocacy.

This role will suit a woman who identifies as having a disability, with some experience of supporting other women with disabilities in her local community.

The position is in a local host organisation who will provide a workspace and desk and other agreed resources to support the position.

As part of Employment: 

  • A police check will be required to undertake the duties in this position.
  • All WDV employees are required to be fully vaccinated or provide proof of a certified medical exemption.
