Westgate Community Initiatives Group Ltd (WCIG) is a well-known, community based not for profit organisation that is committed to creating practical responses to unemployment in the north-eastern and western regions of Melbourne and Geelong. We are currently looking for an experienced employment services superstar to join our team in St Albans on a full-time basis. Please note that employment will initially be on a 0.8 FTE basis.
Reporting to the DES Site Manager, this is a pivotal position that aims to place people with a psychiatric, sensory, and/or physical disability into full-award wage employment and assist them in maintaining that employment. You must have the ability to recognise potentials in jobseekers and ensure the Disability Service Standards are systematically implemented and maintained.
This critical role is responsible for direct marketing to employers, contract compliance, assessments, establishing and developing jobseekers and maintaining their employment. Organisation and attention to detail is second nature, as is your commitment to deliver effective and efficient services that result in ongoing viability. It is essential that you are adaptable and responsive to community and key stakeholder needs.
