The Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation is one of South Australia’s most iconic charities, fundraising for and supporting the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the children, mums and families the hospital cares for every day.

This full time position is responsible for the development of integrated direct marketing campaigns, management of appeals and the implementation of innovative and engaging fundraising tactics that create an exceptional donor journey.

The position is an integral part of the fundraising team, reports directly to the Head of Fundraising and Marketing and works in collaboration with the entire Foundation team.

The principle responsibilities are:

  • The development, delivery and monitoring of the WCHF direct mail program.
  • Development and oversight of a high quality and proactive donor relationship and stewardship program for the Individual Giving ($1,000 and under/non-regular) segment of donors.
  • In collaboration with the Fundraising team, the development, delivery and monitoring of the WCHF Individual Giving acquisition program
  • Maintaining high quality, inclusive relationships with ‘hero families’ featured in direct marketing appeals.
  • Contribution as required to other WCHF Fundraising campaigns and appeals.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

  • Experience in the same or in a similar fundraising position working with a direct marketing program;
  • Proven client/donor relationship management and high level interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrable ability to work unsupervised and to achieve deadlines and targets;
  • Proven organisation and time management skills;
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills; and
  • High level computer literacy.
