Warrina Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services provides support services aimed at reducing the incidence and impact of domestic and family violence on women and children.

The Breaking Free program is funded by the Office of Responsible Gambling. The Breaking Free program is a case management, referral, and community education development model, enabling women and women with children who have been identified as being at serious threat due to domestic and family violence to access specialised supports. This program will particularly focus on the link between domestic and family violence, homelessness, and gambling. Children will also be offered age-appropriate, trauma-informed support services to enhance attachment security between parents and children.

  • Employment Basis: Fixed-Term Contract to 30th September 2021.
  • Ordinary Hours: Up to 21 hours per week, to be worked between 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, days and hours of work negotiable
  • Pay Rate: SCHCADS Award; Social and Community Services Employee Level 4 Range $35.03-$37.90 per hour, depending on experience. Salary Sacrifice Fringe Benefits also available.
