Warrina Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services provides support services aimed at reducing the incidence and impact of domestic and family violence on women and children.
The Breaking Free program is funded by the Office of Responsible Gambling. The Breaking Free program is a case management, referral, and community education development model, enabling women and women with children who have been identified as being at serious threat due to domestic and family violence to access specialised supports. This program will particularly focus on the link between domestic and family violence, homelessness, and gambling. Children will also be offered age-appropriate, trauma-informed support services to enhance attachment security between parents and children.
