Warra Warra Legal Service is a Family Violence Prevention Legal Service based in Broken Hill. WWLS services the Far West of New South Wales, providing free, comprehensive legal information, advice and casework assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of family violence. We are currently expanding our service and are now seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Social Workers who would like to join our team. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

This Social Worker position is for qualified applicants and they must have a current certificate. They will be responsible for providing case management services for clients of WWLS, providing support for female victims of family and domestic violence with the aim of increasing their safety and support networks. The position will work holistically with clients to implement the actions determined through planning to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of the clients and their family units. Community Engagement is an important part of the role.
