ABOUT THE ROLE

In conjunction with respective West Arnhem Regional Council well-being services streams staff, the Well-being Services Coordinator will identify, plan and develop value-add activity programs. These programs will assist to improve the West Arnhem communities quality of life through identified social and well-being initiatives.

The Well-being Services Coordinator will lead a team of staff in service areas comprising of Sport & Recreation, Community Care and differing additional services depending on specific West Arnhem locations (for example Aged Care, Early Learning, Women’s Safe House, Night Patrol, Library, Aquatic Centre etc.). Each community has a range of different services and programs and the Well-being Services Coordinator may determine new programs to be developed that contribute to the well-being outcomes of the community.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience, particularly in a supervisory and/or coordination role, in relevant fields such as Nursing, Child Care, Aged Care, Sport & Recreation, Disability, Health Services, Occupational/Diversional Therapy, Leisure and Lifestyle, Fitness or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating staff and developing a customer-focused, productive team and organisational culture.
  • High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS

  • Remuneration Package $102,066 - $108,734
    (including salary $89,127 - $94,949)
  • 6 weeks annual leave
