The West Arnhem region encompasses one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Top End, including the Kakadu National Park, setting us apart as one of the most culturally important and environmentally significant corners of the Northern Territory.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to join an organisation that works to create an environment where Indigenous people can thrive.
In conjunction with respective West Arnhem Regional Council well-being services streams staff, the Wellbeing Services Coordinator will identify, plan and develop value-add activity programs. These programs will assist to improve the West Arnhem communities quality of life through identified social and well-being initiatives.
The Wellbeing Services Coordinator will lead a team of staff in service areas comprising of Sport & Recreation, Community Care and differing additional services depending on specific West Arnhem locations (for example Aged Care, Early Learning, Women’s Safe House, Night Patrol, Library, Aquatic Centre etc.). Each community has a range of different services and programs and the Well-being Services Coordinator may determine new programs to be developed that contribute to the well-being outcomes of the community.
