Full-time senior position (35-40 hrs) based in Waltja’s Alice Springs office. This senior position provides HR management and staff support across Waltja’s operations, and assistance to the CEO as required in program management and corporate governance.

The position is Level 8 on the SCHADS Award and requires a high level of HR and operational management experience.

Waltja is an Aboriginal controlled, community-based organisation, founded in 1997. We work in remote Central Australian Aboriginal communities, across nine languages and more than one quarter of the Northern Territory. Waltja’s foundation is the leadership of strong Aboriginal women, our focus on Aboriginal families, our distinct set of operating principles (The Waltja Way) and our support for community self-management and self-determination.

Programs include: Language and Culture, Family Mental Health, Youth at Risk, Aged and Disability, and Emergency Relief, and our Social Enterprise, Tjutangku Tjukurrpa.
