The Women’s Health and Wellbeing Team Lead for WWHC works closely alongside the Centre Director and Community Engagement Manager to oversee the delivery of all our health and wellbeing services for women. Women attend the WWHC for a range of issues including Domestic and Family Violence, Sexual Assault, Perinatal Support Needs, Women’s Health and more.
The purpose of the role is to lead and enhance the quality of women’s health and wellbeing service delivery in line with our vision, mission and values.
The successful candidate will be critical in reviewing, updating and implementing our ‘model of care’ for all health and wellbeing services.
These services include but are not limited to:
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of seven who work collaboratively to deliver these services. The role can be flexible to meet the needs of the right candidate and is anticipated to be the equivalent of 3 days a week. This is a 1-year initial contract with the potential for an ongoing role depending on funding.
The applicant must have formal university bachelor level qualifications or higher in a discipline related to health and wellbeing service delivery including by not limited to; social work, psychology, counselling, medicine or related. In addition, accreditation with a relevant professional body (APHRA, APA, ACA other relevant). Experience in trauma informed service delivery and women led approach will be advantageous.
This role will require a valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check and be up to date in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid (the successful applicant will be required to obtain these prior to commencement if they are not current).
