The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation is a statutory authority which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of Victorians by working with our communities and government to deliver effective, evidence-based initiatives and innovative approaches to prevent gambling harm and provide support for those seeking help. Our strategic priorities are to:
Sitting within the Research and Evaluation branch of the Foundation, the Senior Evaluation Officer plays a key role in leading the evaluation of the Foundation's key programs and projects.
This exciting new role will provide specialist evaluation advice on the Foundation's programs, services and initiatives, and will play a key role in building evaluation capability across the Foundation. Some of the projects you will be working in will be in the prevention of gambling harm. You will partner with and have regular dealings with external stakeholders from leading universities and experts in the evaluation field. The position is fixed-term for 12 months.
Key to the success of the role will be your demonstrated experience in leading and project managing evaluation and research projects, stakeholder management skills and proven understanding of research and evaluation methodologies and procurement processes. A sound knowledge and understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and background working in public health is highly regarded. Qualifications in public health, social sciences or other related fields is highly desirable.
