THE ROLE

We seek a passionate, creative, strategic and organised Digital Campaign Producer to cover the increased communications needs for urgent and important community conservation campaigns.

The Digital Campaign Producer will create engaging, compelling, sharable content that increases community awareness, engagement and support our campaigns to protect nature and promote national parks.

The role reports to the Digital Engagement and Communications Manager and works closely with VNPA campaign and communications staff.

THE ORGANISATION

The Victorian National Parks Association (VNPA) has been a leading nature conservation organisation for 70 years. We have been instrumental in the establishment of Victoria’s national parks and conservation estate. We are equally concerned with the management of this system and conservation of nature across the state.

Our vision is for Victoria as a place with a diverse and healthy natural environment protected, respected and enjoyed by all. In addition to conservation programs and advocacy, we run programs to encourage enjoyment of nature through bushwalking, community education, citizen science and other means.

We are a not-for-profit, membership-based, community organisation and registered charity. The Association is supported by a small number of professional staff and a large base of volunteers, members and supporters.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR / SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering digital campaign strategies
  • Demonstrated experience using digital tools and coordinating and preparing content for online platforms and audiences, including website publishing (e.g. WordPress), email marketing systems (e.g. Mailchimp and Do Gooder) and CRM systems (e.g. eTapestry), content production (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Exceptional written, visual, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluency with conditional logic problems (such as email list segmentation), SEO, accessibility and user experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality online content, including graphic design and video for social media and other platforms
  • Knowledge of and interest in nature conservation in a community context
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
