About the role:

This presents a rare opportunity for a technical professional with a keen interest in developing their expertise, to join a team committed to providing high quality services through the adoption of industry best practice and divisional service delivery models.

You will be responsible for managing the integration of new technologies into the supported environment using effective change and release management techniques and providing fault resolution and technical support using comprehensive problem solving techniques. You will also provide on-call support outside of business hours on a rotational basis.

You will work collaboratively with other Senior Systems Engineers to ensure Victoria Legal Aid's Information Communications and Technology (ICT) infrastructure systems run at optimal levels, adhering to best practice and organisational compliance policies.

This position is based in Melbourne CBD although the successful candidate will be required to work from home currently until advised otherwise.

About you:

You will be a self-starter with the capacity to work independently and effectively under pressure within a small team environment.

You will have experience in implementing hardware, software and network upgrades, along with sound problem solving skills in relation to technical support functions.

You will bring expert knowledge and experience in Windows, Azure, networking, virtualisation platforms, communications messaging, web-based and directory services, and will show a thorough understanding of ICT security concepts, technologies and procedures.
