About the role:

In this role you will provide high quality administrative support to the IMHA manager and the wider team including word processing, diary and calendar management, data entry, file management and other general administrative duties. You will be responsible for coordinating program events and assisting with marketing and promotional activities of the service, as well as supporting the manager with the day to day management functions including training and orientation of new staff. This role will be primarily located in Melbourne, but there may be opportunity to undertake work from one of our regional offices with an IMHA presence (Ballarat, Geelong, and Dandenong).

In addition to providing ongoing administrative support to the IMHA team, the role will commence at 0.6FTE (three days per week) and also support our Independent Family Advocacy Support team until November 2021.

About you:

You have strong administration experience with excellent attention to detail, advanced computer skills including experience in the use of data management systems and sound time management skills. You possess highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders. Crucial to your success in this role will be your excellent organisational skills, commitment to quality and ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Experience in a health or welfare related environment will be highly regarded.
