About the Opportunity

As our Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will develop your clinical skills across all of the speech pathology range of practice areas. You are supported to employ wholistic, person-centred practices where you can continuously develop your skills as a vision specialist and speech pathologist. In this role you will:

  • Support children, young people and their families
  • You will have supervision and work as part of a team
  • Work within a cross-functional team including OTs and O&Ms
  • Develop goals with the children, young people and their families
  • Support children and young people with secondary disabilities
  • Explore a variety of strategies and systems to support clients

About You

You are either in your final year of a bachelor’s degree or you have a post-graduate qualification in speech pathology. In addition, you will need to obtain Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) registration as approved by Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). You will also have:

  • Knowledge and skills in working with children and young people
  • Some exposure in speech pathology services in the area of early intervention, particularly communication and feeding
  • Be a team player who is passionate in supporting people to live life on their terms and build on their independence
