VicHealth’s Social Marketing & Communications teams have a critical role in engaging with and delivering health promotion messages to the Victorian community.
We work with our partners to do everything we can to promote healthy eating, encourage regular physical activity, prevent tobacco use, prevent harm from alcohol and improve mental wellbeing.
The External Communications Team is focused on sharing compelling stories and important information with the Victorian public and stakeholders.
The External Communications Coordinator/s report directly to the External Communications Manager and work/s in close partnership with all Social Marketing & Communications teams to deliver effective, strategic communications.
This is an exciting career opportunity for 2 marketing and communications generalists who are passionate about using their communications skills and creativity to improve the health and wellbeing of Victorians.
In this new role/s, the successful candidate/s will provide a broad range of support to the Public Relations and Social Media Leads, including supporting execution of media and social media strategies, monitoring and reporting and various administration tasks. They will be proficient communicators across different formats and will support the team in writing media releases and social media content.
The successful candidate/s will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering VicHealth events including digital and face to face events, managed in-house as well as with external assistance.
