You might be the right person for the role of ResourceSmart Schools Facilitator with Environment Education Victoria (EEV)
EEV works with schools across the Western Metro Region of Melbourne to deliver Sustainability Victoria's ResourceSmart Schools program. ResourceSmart Schools brings together sustainability educators and delivery organisations to help Victorian schools minimise waste, save energy and water, improve biodiversity in their school grounds, and cut their greenhouse gas emissions.
Your new position is central to the EEV's successful delivery of ResourceSmart Schools in the Western Metropolitan Melbourne. Reporting to the Senior Programs Manager, the ResourceSmart Schools Facilitator is primarily responsible for supporting and empowering schools to embed sustainability in their campus operations, curriculum and community partnerships.
Your days will include conducting both Primary and Secondary school visits, providing tailored support, advice and professional development for schools, managing ongoing communications, and providing regular reports on school progress.
This is a part-time, fixed-term contract to 30 June 2021, however the role may be extended depending upon funding. This position involves regular travel to schools in Melbourne’s Western Metropolitan Region.
