Variety – the Children’s Charity of Western Australia is a local not for profit organisation, helping to give a fair go to WA children who live with disability, illness or disadvantage. 

We’re seeking a part time (0.8FTE / 30.4 hrs per week) Fundraising Coordinator to deliver key projects and maximise all opportunities in line with strategic and budget objectives across our portfolio of fundraising activities. 

Main duties: 

  • Coordination of individual giving initiatives such as appeals, bequests and regular giving, including acquisition and donor stewardship.
  • Organisation of major raffles, including innovation of new raffle products.
  • Day to day account management for existing corporate partners and sponsors.
  • Development of potential new community fundraising campaigns. 

Skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience in fundraising, or transferrable marketing and communications experience.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly efficient time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new database systems quickly.
  • Self-motivated and effective working both autonomously or in a team setting.
  • Passion for the cause and personal values that are aligned to Variety WA's.
