We are looking for an Events and Community Engagement Coordinator at Variety – the Children’s Charity of Victoria, to manage "in real life" fundraising events and inspire our community of fundraisers. The position is permanent, based at our office in Port Melbourne and will benefit from flexible employment conditions, car parking and salary packaging.

Variety – the Children’s Charity is a national, not-for-profit organisation that assists children and families facing challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with a disability. By providing practical, life-changing equipment and programs when it’s needed most, Variety helps kids achieve their full potential and realise their dreams.

Reporting to the CEO, the Events and Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for the end to end project management and operational coordination of “in real life” Variety events from planning to execution. The position will also be responsible for engaging, inspiring, and coordinating Variety’s community to fundraise successfully for children in need including assisting influencers and content creators through social media.

This is a varied role so flexibility, adaptability and a ‘can do’ attitude is a must!

Variety Victoria holds the safety of children as paramount. All candidates will be required to undertake appropriate screening to ensure their suitability for working with children.
