VALID is a not for profit organisation currently based in Richmond that has operated throughout Victoria for 33 years. VALID’s programs include disability advocacy for adults with intellectual disability, self-advocacy and community development.

VALID’s mission is to promote and protect the rights of people with intellectual disability and to champion their rights as citizens to enjoy and have community presence and participation, choice, respect and self determination.

About the role

The successful candidate will need previous high level experience in organisational development, team management, collegiate focus, motivation and leadership; critical thinking, strategy and social justice.
