National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ageing and Aged Care Council (NATSIAACC) is a new peak body for Aboriginal aged care and we’re recruiting a Chief Executive to lead and grow this new organisation. NATSIAACC has been established by leading Aboriginal health organisations from across Australia and is being funded by the Australian Department of Health.
NATSIAACC, based in Canberra, will work closely with Government to reform aged care, representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander aged care providers and Community. The Chief Executive will recruit and lead a small team, supported by a Board comprising experienced Aboriginal leaders, whilst also growing a membership of aged care organisations throughout our Australia.
This is an exiting opportunity for somebody who wants to create a legacy in aged care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people and providers. These are issues of national significance that will become even more important as the number of older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continues to grow quickly.
