VACCHO is the peak representative for the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people in Victoria and champions community control and health equality for Aboriginal communities. We are a centre of expertise, policy advice, training, innovation and leadership in Aboriginal health and wellbeing. VACCHO advocates for the health equality and optimum health of all Aboriginal people in Victoria.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Business Analyst looking for an opportunity to contribute to the Aboriginal health and wellbeing sector in Victoria.

This position will be responsible for analysing, documenting, and developing business and project processes, with a particular focus on supporting the implementation of VACCHO’s new strategic plan: On Solid Ground. The position will work closely with the strategic team to document current and future state business processes and systems, support development and assist in managing change for implementation of improved business processes.

To be successful:

  • A formal qualification in business, business analytics, business administration, or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of business process mapping, as well as identifying, developing and driving opportunities for process improvements​.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management. Including the ability to successfully manage and influence stakeholder expectations and build excellent rapport to enhance delivery and acceptance of change.
  • Analytical problem-solver, able to anticipate issues and suggest creative ideas or solutions that streamline operations, resolve concerns, and improve efficiency.
  • A flexible approach, with strong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to effectively manage time and workload, prioritise tasks, and meet changing circumstances, competing demands, interruptions and deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Knowledge of BABOK guide and CBAP/Agile / Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, the issues affecting the health of Aboriginal peoples living in Victoria.
