The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of it’s kind in Australia. Based in Broadmeadows, Craigieburn and Sunbury locations, the Aboriginal Practice Leader position lies within the Orange Door Hub service. The Orange Door Hub provides a safe way for adults, children and young people to access services when they are experiencing family violence, or require support with the care, development and wellbeing of their children or young people.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Team Leader of the Aboriginal Response Team will be responsible for the guiding, supporting and supervising a team of dedicated practitioners to provide a vital service to vulnerable people.
