The Gippsland Family Violence team provide support services to Aboriginal Women, Men and Children through a range of specialist family violence programs. The service aims to support Aboriginal Women, Men and Children to remain safely within their community and maintain a life free of violence while also addressing the emotional and practical needs and issues arising from the violence.
This position will sit within the Gippsland VACCA Client Services team and will be responsible to deliver high quality services to Aboriginal women, men and children experiencing family violence and to promote wellbeing in a holistic approach, participation in the broader community and access to relevant services.
The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of it’s kind in Australia.
