The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of it’s kind in Australia. The main aim of The Orange Door Hub is to provide a safe way for adults, children and young people to access services when they are experiencing family violence or need support with the care, development and wellbeing of their children and young people. The Aboriginal Practitioner role, based in the Croydon area of the Eastern Suburbs, is required to undertake comprehensive child assessments, family violence risk assessments, support referral pathways and provide short term case management.
