  • Family and Children’s Services supports children’s services for long day care, pre-school programs, occasional care, vacation care and before and after school care.
  • We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offering accredited, pre-accredited, work skills and leisure courses.
  • Our Community School, a registered independent school, provides secondary curriculum to students in an alternative school environment.
  • Community Hubs, bringing people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, education, recreational and support activities.

Cire is seeking an experienced Director to lead one of our services in the Yarra Valley. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Family and Children’s Services, the Director will play an integral role in the success of the service.

A Day in the Life of our Director – Children’s Services

Providing strong leadership to a talented team of Educators, you will support their success through effective management, professional development and on the job training. Managing budgets, financials and being able to report on and clearly communicate the objectives of Cire will see you succeed as Director. Developing clear and streamlined processes to improve efficiency and compliance will be where you shine. You’ll build strong relationships with families, the community and the staff at Cire.

Who Are You?

To be successful in this role, you will have worked successfully as a Director for a minimum of 2 years. We have a strong preference for Degree qualification in Education (Early Childhood), a clear working with children and police check (or be willing to undertake).

You will be passionate about early childhood education and will have the skills to lead, motivate and inspire our educators to achieve quality outcomes for children and families. You will understand legislative requirements related to early childhood and will have a solid working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards. As the Nominated Supervisor you will ensure 100% compliance and promote a culture of best practice across the services you will lead.
