Our work ranges from responding to emerging public health crises to training the future health workforce. You’ll join a considerable institution of learners, thinkers, researchers and innovators, with more than 1000 undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students and 200 research candidates enrolled in our School.
This Project Officer is a key administrative role that supports a multidisciplinary team of researchers on a project about Aboriginal cultural health. The Gaawaadhi Gadudha Research Collaborative is a group of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal researchers based at UNSW’s School of Population Health, in regional NSW and at other universities. We are led by Yuwaalaraay, Gamilaraay and Yuin-Djirringanj traditional cultural knowledge holders. Our research works to show that culture practised on Country improves Aboriginal peoples’ physical health and social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The position will coordinate the administration of the project and support research activities.
