In this role, as a Policy and Publicity Manager, you will work in the Sydney Policy Lab, primarily supporting a major commission into the future of mental health policy in Australia. You will advise those leading the commission on the political context of their work; lead and implement a communications strategy for the program, including cultivating relationships with policy stakeholders, mental health campaigners, journalists and media; help to synthesise and translate research into policy and practice recommendations; write and edit copy for diverse publications and audiences; and help researchers translate their research into accessible formats.
You will also work closely with the small but expert Policy Lab team more broadly, assisting the Lab in bringing insights from the broader University community into politics and policymaking across Australia.
