We are looking for an experienced policy officer to help drive the sector’s efforts to prevent gender-based violence, improve women’s participation in higher education, address online safety, and support the mental health of university communities.

You will be joining a collaborative and dynamic team, working on high-profile policy and projects to improve outcomes for people at a national level. Our ideal candidate will have good judgement and relationship management skills and contribute to complex problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders and organisations across the government, community and university sectors.

A competitive salary package will be available for the successful candidate. This is a permanent, ongoing position, based in Canberra. Universities Australia is open to flexible working arrangements.
