We are seeking Lived Experience Mentors to work collaboratively with people with a mental health illness to provide a range of holistic rehabilitation options, and provide support to improve their wellbeing. This role will also consist of weekend and fill in shifts as needed.
The role will also be responsible to conduct assessments, provide advocacy, and liaise with individuals, families, the service coordinator and other connected professionals and agencies.
The successful candidate will have a Degree, Diploma or Post Graduate qualification in Human Services. Certificate IV in Peer Support Mental Health or Mental Health Certificate IV or equivalent will also be advantageous.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who has the ability to provide strong professional boundaries, while maintaining rapport. You will also have experience working with multiple and complex psychosocial needs, and experience in leadership and group facilitation.
