We are Looking for a passionate and experienced Finance and Reporting Officer who will be responsible for populating, monitoring, reporting and submitting information related to service provision, under the direction of the Manager.

We are looking for an individual who possesses an optimistic outlook on life, is a team player and has a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the community.

The successful candidate will be great with technology and enjoy working with numbers, spreadsheets and databases, whilst having the ability to effectively communicate key information to relevant parties in a timely manner, and will excel at working under pressure.

DETAILS

Full Time Position

Level, SCHADS SACS 3

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Reconcile program funding and ensure Service Agreement / Contract funding milestones are met, in collaboration with Coordinators
  • Complete processes associated with on boarding and discharging consumers from Medicare, consumer databases and other relevant documentation and data entry
  • Set up and update direct debits in relevant software package
  • Upload Aged Care Entry Requirements (ACER) form document to Department of Human Services portal to initiate funding of a new CDC Home Care Package consumer
  • Collate data and submit end of month financial reports, with guidance from Manager
  • Export /upload payroll data to payroll & Prepare and disseminate consumer invoices and statements

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Diploma in Accounting / Management or Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent, or extensive experience working in a similar role (essential)
  • Current National Police Clearance – Aged Care (essential)
  • Current SA Drivers Licence (essential)
  • Community aged care financial/reporting experience in desirable, but not essential”
  • Experience in developing the analysis of end of month financial reports
  • Advanced user experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) including pivot tables / charts / documentation / reports, the internet, and the intranet

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
