Administration Officer - People & Culture



The role of the Administration Officer People & Culture is to provide administrative support across all of the People and Culture Team as well as providing support to reception. This role will ensure the smooth running of the general office functions and that all queries are directed appropriately and in a timely manner.


  • Monitor, manage and action the HR Administration email inbox by distributing, actioning and monitoring all emails
  • Set up New Employee Appointment Packs and Volunteer Packs
  • Assist in recruitment needs by providing support to recruitment team as they require (e.g. relevant checks, files, interview guides)
  • Assist in coordination of corporate orientation, training days and assessment centres
  • Maintenance of the People and Culture iDrive
  • Creating and formatting documents (e.g. Job and Person Specifications)
  • Uploading of documents to intranet where required
  • Check and process contract variations as per the recruitment process
  • Check, code and distribute People and Culture invoices
  • Check and balance credit card statements for People and Culture
  • Organise People and Culture events as required such as Strategic Planning days
  • Review and suggest policy updates and edits where required
  • Assist in weekly, monthly, fortnightly reports
  • Minute taking for People & Culture meetings


  • Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or relevant (required)
  • Current SA driver’s license (desirable)
  • Current relevant National Police Clearance
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Advanced use of Microsoft applications including: Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Access (or other data base software)
  • Experience in the use of TechOne (desirable)
  • Experience in a Human Resources Administrative role (desirable)
  • Experience in the use of BigRedSky (desirable)

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
