The Opportunity

Our Finance Team is seeking an Accountant to be responsible for maintaining financial, accounting and administrative services in order to meet legislative requirements and support the Accounting Team.

This will be a varied position, which will involve being responsible for a selection of business units including the NDIS finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that NDIS data is accurate, billing is up to date and exceptions are followed up promptly
  • Support the accounting team with all finance activities, including end of month processes, reconciliation where requested and audit queries as required
  • Provide support with budget activities, including preparation and reconciliation
  • Provide financial information by collecting, analysing, and summarising data and trends including quarterly reporting
  • Attend to all communications in a respectful, courteous and helpful manner and prioritise enquires from internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or relevant and extensive experience in a similar role. We are seeking a dynamic individual who has high level of effective communication, problem solving analytical and IT skills.
