THE OPPORTUNITY

The Aboriginal Community Services Trainee is responsible for duties as directed in the Employment Services team providing support to case managers and support staff in the delivery of programs

KEY RESPONSIBILiTIES INCLUDE:

  • Undertake to attend to all requests in a respectful, courteous and helpful manner
  • Complete allocated tasks with accuracy, in an efficient, effective and timely manner
  • Undertake records management as directed
  • Assist with scanning documents where requested
  • Strive for continuous improvement in work practices by seeking and reporting opportunities for improvement

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Must currently be enrolled as a full time Trainee Certificate III
  • Current DHS Child Related Employment clearance
  • NDIS Clearance

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
