About Local Area Coordination Partners in the Community (PITC) Program

The NDIS Partners in the Community Program for Local Area Coordination (LAC) Services works in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to assist people with disability, their families and carers to achieve tangible outcomes, exercise choice and control and engage with the National Disability Insurance Schemes (NDIS).

Uniting LAC support people aged 7-65 who have NDIS plans and are eligible for the Scheme, as well as connect people, who are not eligible for the Scheme, to services and supports in their local community.

Uniting is delivering Local Area Coordination in the local communities across Hunter New England Central.

Responsibilities

As an effective leader, you will be responsible to lead the administrative and operational support for LAC Services across your service area. You will inspire and motivate your team of Service Area Support Officers to provide timely, quality and innovative services consistent with performance expectations and in an ever-changing environment. You will support the Service Area Manager with their administrative requirements and in delivering the outcomes and meeting the requirements contained in the NDIA contractual agreement along with the Uniting and LAC Services strategic and operational plans.

Are you the Person we are looking for?

You will have demonstrated experience in leading and maintaining high performance administration support team with the ability to balance conflicting priorities and work to deadlines.

We are looking for a high degree of professionalism and judgment with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, whilst providing an exemplary level of administrative support functions for the Service Manager and anticipating the administrative and operational needs of the Service Area Leadership team to deliver the contractual obligations.
