We are looking for a permanent part time support workers to join our friendly and supportive respite care team at Glen Osmond House in Petersham. 

You will be responsible for providing day and overnight care and respite services to older people, duties and responsibilities can include:

  • Undertaking of domestic tasks including meal preparation and housework
  • Assist with personal care such as showering and other activities of daily living
  • Provide assistance and support to the client with medication management
  • Mobility support to the client such as assistance with the use of mechanical aids
  • Assist and support clients to engage in desired leisure activities

You will be available for AM, PM and Overnight shifts in between Monday to Sunday on a variable roster.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent an advantage
  • Completed module competency to assist clients with medication
