About LAC Partners in the Community (PITC)

Uniting is a partner of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), delivering the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the local communities of Hunter New England, Illawarra Shoalhaven, Nepean Blue Mountains, Northern Sydney, Southern NSW and Western Sydney.

Uniting LAC support people aged 7-65 who have NDIS plans and are eligible for the scheme, as well as connect people, who are not eligible for the scheme, to services and supports in their local community.

Responsibilities

You will represent the Stakeholder Engagement Team to provide administrative and operational support for the Stakeholder Engagement Team. You will support the Stakeholder Engagement Manager to provide timely, quality and innovative services consistent with performance expectations and in an ever-changing environment. You will represent your service area as a first point of call for customer enquiries.

As Operation Support Officers you will deliver operational and administrative support in line with Uniting’s culture that promotes person-centred approaches and outcomes, reflecting the right of people with disability to exercise control over all aspects of their lives.

Are you the person we are looking for?

As the successful candidate, you will have experience providing excellent administrative services supported by your strong attention to detail, initiative and prioritisation skills. You will be highly organised with a proven ability to establish and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Your understanding of the complex needs of people with disability and their families along with Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration will be looked upon favourably.
