This role will contribute to both project and operational service delivery with the successful candidate able to manage their time, professional relationships and stakeholder expectations efficiently and effectively. About you in this role

• This is a technical administration and service delivery role, typically requiring more than 10 years’ experience in enterprise network administration & support within ITIL based service delivery contexts.
• You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be well organised, proactive, accurate and disciplined.
• Extensive experience driving sustainable value from external vendors and service providers.
• Experience in not only administering enterprise telecommunications and security but confident in effective ILM (Infrastructure Lifecycle Management).
• ITIL incident, problem and change management experience, driving ownership and outstanding customer experience at all times.
• Up to date and industry recognised technical certifications which demonstrate your personal commitment to continuously develop your skills in rapidly changing technical environments.
• Demonstrated experience with network standards, practices and technologies including:
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts:
    • Switching – VTP, VLAN’s, 802.1Q-in-Q
    • Routing – OSPF, HSRP, BGP
    • WAN – MPLS, VPLS, VPN, QoS
    • Voice – POTS, VoiP, SIP
    • Enterprise Wireless.
    • Hybrid cloud networking (O365/MS Azure preferred.
• Experience in Enterprise network security and access control technologies, including Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls, TACACS and Cisco ISE.
• Systems management and monitoring (SNMP, Prime, Syslog, Solarwinds Cattools, Statseeker)
• Scripting and automation experience. (Python or similar)
• Experience with Cisco Enterprise Wireless deployments, including management and wireless security (WPA/WPA2 Ent/802.1x).

Even better:

• Experience working in hybrid operational and project settings where discipline and flexibility must be effectively balanced.
• Current Cisco CCNP/CCIE certifications – such as Enterprise wireless, Routing/Switching and/or Enterprise infrastructure.
• Current Juniper JNCP (JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP)
• Current Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE
