About the Opportunity

Welcome to Uniting Airlie Preschool. We're a friendly community based 53 place Not for Profit Preschool, caring for children aged 3-5 years. Our preschool services operate between the time of 8:30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday during the Department of Education’s school terms. 

Uniting Airlie Preschool specialises in nurturing and providing our children with:

To join us, you will need to be a passionate Educator, have a strong work ethic and demonstrated experience working in a team environment whilst maintaining effective relationships with our children and families.

Your key duties will include:

  • Plan, implement and document children’s learning
  • Ensuring children’s safety
  • Supporting the ongoing development of the children
  • Participating in all aspects of the daily running of the centre
  • Fostering relationships with families and children throughout the centre
  • Maintaining Work Health and Safety always
  • Facilitating Play Based Learning 

What do I need to succeed?

  • Relevant Early Learning Qualification (minimum Completed Certificate lll of Children's Services)
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework
  • Applied knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A cooperative team player who demonstrates a commitment to Early Childhood education and care
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or be willing to obtain), Child Protection
  • Current Working With Children check

Employment with Uniting is subject to satisfactory background checks which may include a National Police Check, Working with Children Check and Reference Checks.
