About the opportunity

That’s why, we’re looking for a Full Time Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our Residential team to lead the develop clinical practices in Strategic Quality and Service Excellence across Uniting based in Garden Suburb. 

This role is responsible to ensure Uniting delivers market leading clinical services, particularly in expertise/specialisation by guiding the process of clinical practice improvement, ensuing clinical practices are research based, innovative and up-to-date, leading clinical service delivery and consultancy strategy and contributing to service-related professional development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing analysis of relevant research and operational information and assisting managers to evaluate and integrate the information they receive.
  • Coordinating and maintaining team management systems and ensuring relevant information is input on a consistent and regular basis.
  • Providing a collection of relevant data to assist with budgeting, the operation of the team and production of regular reports.
  • Conducting specialised studies as required, providing insights into the operation of the team and the organisation.
  • Provide expert clinical advice on Advanced Care Planning and area of specialisation care to patients, carers and healthcare providers

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration, Registered Nurse with minimum 5 years nursing experience including 12 months minimum in Aged Care.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in aged care, health service management or similar 
  • Knowledge of best practice within clinical nurse education, including legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage others in learning and development
