Are you passionate about driving efficient operations and delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Coordinator – Housing to join our team and lead the administrative function within our Housing team at Uniting. This role is central to ensuring quality customer service, effective management of rental properties, and overseeing all related administrative tasks.

As the Administration Coordinator – Housing, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and support the administrative team to achieve team goals through effective performance management and capability development.
  • Manage rent reviews, rental income, and arrears, ensuring compliance with financial objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Drive KPI management to ensure efficient vacancy allocation and turnaround times.
  • Streamline and improve internal processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer service delivery.
  • Provide critical support for tenancy management, aligning with NSW and ACT residential tenancies legislation.
  • Promote Uniting’s housing initiatives by participating in sector forums and community networks.
  • Contribute to Uniting’s continual improvement through active participation in regulatory processes, data management, and process evaluation.
  • Support the administrative needs of key projects, including Property Condition Reports.

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing administrative teams (5+ years preferred), ideally in the housing or community services sector.
  • A track record of improving process efficiency and driving service delivery excellence.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to customer service, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of financial management systems, tenancy databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to navigate a complex organisation and build effective relationships.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in rent review and income management.
  • A relevant qualification in administration, business, or community services.
