We are currently seeking applications for a part-time (0.6 - 0.8 FTE) Research Fellow to support the implementation and evaluation of our Moderated Online Social Therapy (MOST) platform into a range of clinical services both nationally and internationally. Based at Parkville, you will initially commence working from home. As such a reliable internet connection will be required.

This role will lead the development of an analytics infrastructure for MOST systems, as well as the analysis of these data, and to contribute to the development and execution of the implementation data analysis plan, including A/B testing, web experiments and analysis of complex multifactorial health datasets.

This opportunity offers exciting possibilities in developing a deeper understanding of health care delivery, implementation science, technologies for mental health and blended therapy models to craft unique research ideas in these particular domains.

As the Research Fellow, you will specifically be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Working collaboratively with other Orygen Digital members on setting up an analytics framework that connects to the MOST systems and provides relevant intelligence on their operation.
  • Constructing web experiments.
  • Extracting and analysing usage data from the MOST database.
  • Contributing autonomously to core research outputs and grants, and identifying sources of funding to support individual/collaborative projects. 
  • Analysing psychometric and participant evaluation data.
  • Providing information to inform on practice, decision making and improvements to MOST.
  • Developing research ideas/plans and leading implementation and analyses.
  • Providing effective supervision of major honours or postgraduate research projects and supervising or co-supervising Research Higher Degree and Honours students.
