A Research Assistant is required to work on an NHMRC funded clinical trial of a tailored psychological intervention (RECOVER) for young people being treated for early stage Bipolar Disorder (BD) at Orygen. The aim of the RECOVER trial is to determine the effectiveness of RECOVER, when added to treatment as usual at an early intervention service, in improving global functioning at 6-months. A further aim of the study is to establish the effectiveness of RECOVER in improving functioning (global, social and occupational), symptoms, and quality of life at further time-points up until 18-months.
